나는 SM 엔터테인먼트에서 연수를 사랑하지만 SM 엔터테인먼트는 인도네시아에서 오디션을 개최하지 않았다. 그래서 도움을 요청, 어떻게 그것을 오디션 어떻게해야합니까?

Hi SM girl i have a few questions to ask ( sorry if it's alot!)If i want to audition by email, how should i start it out and should i sing and dance or what? Also, if i want to go to korea and audition there, how should i audition?
Hi there! I just have a few quick questions:1. When I mention my age, should I use my Korean or American age? I've been raised in America, so to me I'm 14. But by Korean standards, I'm actually 15, right? Which should I use?2. In an email audition, do you include an audio file of yourself singing /and/ a clip of you dancing, or just one or the other? And should a whole song be presented, or only a minute or so of it? (The official website had me a bit confused on this matter.)3. Would you recommend doing a dance cover for a dancing audition, or an original dance?Thank you for your time and for creating this blog! This is a great help!

Hi i just got back from the auditions in december and it wasnt really like anything i read. there was only one judge and everything was just recorded. But in my group the judge paid attention to only me and this other girl when we were singing though, taking down notes and stuff, but she didnt give any attention to the others, looking down and playing with her hair and stuff. is that good? Do i have to wait till the global auditions are over before the results are realised?
Hi there~ I have a few questions that I really need to know regarding SM's walk-in auditions1. How many rounds of auditions do we usually go through? 2. How long do they take to inform you about coming to the the next audition or you can know straightaway on the spot? 3. How do they inform you if not on the spot?3. How long after will the consecutive round be?4. How do you know if you have successfully passed and have qualified to become a trainee?5. After passing, is signing the contract on the spot? Or are we permitted time to consider(parents need to have a look at the contract)?6. If we are given time to think about it, how long would it be?That's all for my questions~ thank you for even looking at this and hopefully I'd get your reply soon because I'd be going to Korea soon for the Walk-In Audition(since there isn't any other SM auditions at the time)
Hi SM girl :)I have a few questions to ask1)How long is the freestyle dance test?2)If i made it into the 2nd audition via email, for the 2nd audition, will there be any live audience?I think thats all for now. Thanks a lot!P.s. I luv your blog! Thanks a lot :)
Hey YY Cookie,1) That will depend on the person auditioning and the judge. Normally it'll be around 45 secs to 5 minutes.2) Nope, just you and the cameraman.Your welcome, SMgirlP.S. Thanks! It took a lot of work to get it going. :)
Yay! Thanks for replying:)okay then^^oh by the way, Do we have to sing the same song as we did for the second round audition? As in if i sang If-by Taeyeon for email audition,do i have to sing the same song again for 2nd audition? Or do i need to sing some other song?Hope to get your reply soon :)
Hi YY Cookie,There are no rules saying you have to sing the same song. But it's fine to sing the same song, especially if its a song that highlights your voice.SMgirl
but if i were to sing the same song again, will the judges think that my talents are very limited?
Hey YY,No. If you know several songs that are good for your range, sing a different one for each audition. However, it would be better to sing one song well then to sing two just so-so. SMgirl
okie thanku ^^ i had a hard time deciding which song to choose. THanks for answering my questions, i've decided to sing the same song :)
Hey SM girl, It's me again :)I've got more questions.1)Does trainees get to visit their parents if their parents are not in Korea?2)When can they visit their parents(if it's possible)?3)How long can they stay for a visit?
Hey Cookie,1)Does trainees get to visit their parents if their parents are not in Korea?Yes, you can visit your parents.2)When can they visit their parents(if it's possible)? When you get a free schedule. 3)How long can they stay for a visit?I believe you get around 3 weeks of vacation a year. SMgirl
Whoops, suddenly thought of another question, sorry to bother you:P will SM pay for the flight back to your own country to visit your parents? Thanks in advance ^^
Hey YY Cookie,Yes, they will pay for it.But the time and date you fly they must approve first.Your welcome, SMgirl
Hi again^^another question to ask1) Do all 10 people dance together for the rythm test, or do we dance one by one?2)Wad type of music do they play for the dance?
Hi YY Cookie,1)You all dance at the same time.2)Something with a nice beat to follow.SMgirl
Hihi:) Its me again :)Here r my questions1) Can i only sing the chorus of a song for audition? Will the judges ask me to sing the whole song??2) I dunno how to go there!!! What do i do??
Hey YY Cookie,1) Yes, you can. Just make sure the chorus is worth hearing without the rest of the song.2) What do you mean? Just do your best at the audition. I'm sure you'll do great! SMgirl
Hi again:-D thx for all those answers you've given:) but i still have questions!! Seems like i really don't know about SM:( but thanks to yr blog, i can know more about it^^ okay here comes my questions:1)for the last audition, if i didnt get in, do i pay for my own tickets back, or do SM pay for it?2) is it possible for my parents to go korea wif me(if i got to b a trainee)? Do we have to pay for everything ourselves or do SM pay?
As in pay the plane tickets for my parents n their stay in korea....
Hey YY Cookie,1) As far as I know you have to pay for your ticket back.2) Your parents would have to pay for their own plane ticket, room, and board.Your very welcome,SMgirl
oh okay then:( im gonna b broke if I cannot pass the last round:'( anyway, thanks:)
Hi Sm girlI'm 15 year old girl who is non asian. Do you think I could get into Sm? I know basic Korean and Chinese. I'm 5'2 89 pounds and I looke really young~ what do you think the chances are for someone non asian getting in. I have lots of friends who are Korean who just came from Korea and they all think I can get it and debut I would just like another opinion.
Hi Lena,As of now, Asians are the only trainees SM has accepted. The chances for you getting in SM are limited because of that. However, go for it. If you are really talented and pretty you have a chance small though it may be.SMgirl
hi..my little sister want to join SM global audition this year. she's 9 years old and she choose fashion category. so what should she prepare for the audition? should she wear special outfits for the fashion or just casual outfits? thank you :)
Hi K-POP STORE, Have your sister wear something that shows she has great fashion. It doesn't have to be really fancy. She will probably have to model her outfit. So make sure she is prepared to do that in front of a camera. You're welcome,SMgirl
HelloI am aged 14 and my current height is 165cm. I am quarter korean. I am able to communicate in Nepalese, Hindi, and English fluently. I am also capable to speak few word or sentence in French and Korean.I want to become kpop and actress. Will sm accept me?Also what is the ideal height and weight do you have to be to become kpop? What talants are needed in order to become kpop or actress? Thank you
Hi Sonu Rai,SM doesn'te have any height or weight requirements. SNSD is a great example of what SME is looking for. All of them are beautiful but their wwights and heights vary.Good luck!SMgirl
Thank you for reply SMgirl.1.I have incredable passion to become kpop but I cant speak fluent Korean?2. I can dance pretty well and i can act. I can sing but not great as other singer. Right now I'm trying to rap. Also I can speak few different languages. As I am capable to do this is my chance to become trainee higher than most common peoples?3. As I live in London and I'm 14, I want to finish my school first before audition. The time I finish my school I would be 16. Firstly I like to audition but I my parent won't let me travel on my own all the way to korea?Secondly I heard you have train for 4-8 years before debuting is that true?I would like to debut with in 2-3 years ( if I'm lucky enough to get in)Thank you for your time smgirl ;)I really need your help.
Hey Sonu Rai,1. You don't need to speak Korean to become a trainee. Just learn how to introduce yourself and some basic phrases.2. Your chances are better than the average person. Probably about the same as a lot of the trainees. 3. Send in an email audition if you can't leave your country. Some SM trainees trained for 7 years before debuting, others debut in a year. It depends when SM thinks you're ready to debut. You're welcome,SMgirl
Thank you so much for your help and your time smgirl ;)What is the online audition websites called?( will give it a go when I'm 16 years I old)
Hi Sonu,Here is the info for auditions. http://www.smtown.com/AuditionSMgirl
Hello, my name's Nhung and i'm 22 years old. 1. Can they recevie me because i'm Vietnamese? 2. Can you tell me about Audition via email? 3. And do they really watch audiotion via email?4. I dont have enough money to go to Korea. IF they receive me via email so will they pay ticket for me?please reply me soon,Thank you.
Hello Nhung,1. Yes, SM accepts Vietnamese.2. For more info on that check out SM's website here: http://www.smtown.com/Audition/ApplyNow?m=about3. Yes.4. It really depends on how much they want you in their company. You're welcome,SMgirl
Can non- asian make the audition? Im from chile, and my dream is to become a singer, they get peoples who are not asians?
Hi Hdhnobl,So far all trainees are at least part Asian. There are other idol companies that accept non-Asians. Go ahead and try auditioning. There is a first time for everything!SMgirl
Thank you very much!! I have another questions,1- how many rounds does it take to bacome an official trainee?2- can i make all the rounds by email?3- can i just record my self with my cellphone camera?4- What I have to do in every round?5- which company accepts non-asian? I know its a lot of questions , i try this: http://smentertainmenthelper.blogspot.com/2011/01/qs-and-as-for-sm-entertianment.htmlBut i didnt understand so please help me
Hey Hdhnobl,1. Three.2. No, only the first round can be done via email.3. Use the best quality camera you have. Most cellphones aren't good enough.4. The first and second round are pretty similar. Introduce yourself and what you are auditioning as (singer, dancer, etc.) and perform whatever it is you are auditioning. All of this is done in front of a camera. The third audition is very different. You will be in a lineup of 10 people or so and will perform for the SM judges.Paste this into your url and read through the post. Most of the questions you are asking are answered there. You're very welcome,SMgirl
Hello SM Girl. I have a few questions about auditioning and everything. I'm just turning 14 in a month, and is still thinking about auditioning. I was wondering... 1. Since the date to audition in New York passed already, would there be another next year or the year after? 2. I'm actually quite insecure about myself due to the fact that at my age, acne is a big problem. It isn't too bad, but would it be a big impact? Also, I was planning on getting braces but I want to audition as soon as possible, which is most likely next year. But would it be fine with braces to audition or should I wait till after the braces are off in 2-3 years? 3. Do we know whether or not we debut as a kpop group or just ourselves. I'm quite shy and would like to stick with people other than by myself. 4. I'm chinese, but I would love to learn korean. I could sing korean songs such as exo's 'Thunder' and more but I still do not understand the meaning of the lyrics. If I were to be accepted, at school, would I have to start at a beginning grade or the grade I should be in? 5. When being a trainee, will we not be able to see our families? If so, how long? 6. I'm terrible at dancing free style, but I've learned ballroom dancing for about 7 years. But due to the fact that im shy, I dont believe i could dance ballroom by myself but I would need a partner... I would rather just do a rhythm test. But I don't know what I should do. 7. I actually quite hate my name, and wouldn't think it'll sound good if I were to debut. Would I be able to change it? Sorry for so many questions and all. I hope you can help me understand the situation better. Thank You!
Hi Vivian,1. SM seems to hold auditions in New York rather regularly. SM will probably have another soon.2. I think braces and acne are fine. SM will know that braces and acne aren't forever and will make you look better.3. You would probably be put in a group if you sing and dance. SM will decide if you will debut as a group or not.4. Yes, you will have to learn Korean. SM will decide which grade to put you in.5.If your parents live nearby I'm sure SM would let them come see you.6. Plan a basic dance ahead of time. Confidence is one of the best qualities when dancing. If you can dance well that is one more plus for you in SM's eyes.7. Many Korean idols have nicknames and stage names so you should be able to change yours. Though I think Vivian Lin is a really cool sounding name and it could make you stand out in a good way. You're welcome,SMgirl
Do sm really check email??? I heard that they assume those mail as fan message and there are many ppl auditioned through mail... Do they even have the time to check those email one by one???
